This section is designed to stress points of utmost importance within the planning and operating of New Life. These safeguards are top-priority and complementary to the constitution rather than an exhaustive breakdown of New Life’s positions. They are universal principles that must remain unchanged for the duration of New Life Ministries.

- The leadership of New Life Ministries will set the example for moral faithfulness. Sexual faithfulness is the top moral priority, as immoral sexual behavior is too often the source of ruin for individuals, families, and ministries.
- The leadership of New Life Ministries will live above reproach in their integrity. This means we must be honest in our communication, fair in our dealings, and committed to truth.

Doctrinal Safeguards
- New Life Ministries will faithfully uphold the doctrinal positions affirmed in the Constitution. Regardless of change within theological movements, doctrine will not be compromised or abandoned.
- New Life Ministries will corporately associate with ministries that agree in doctrine.

Philosophical Safeguards
- New Life Ministries will base its convictions on truth not perception.
- New Life Ministries will foster an environment for the next generation that promotes authentic and autonomous relationships with Jesus Christ.
- New Life Ministries will emphasize open communication between the pastors, leaders, and congregation of the church.
- New Life Ministries will perform annual evaluations of every aspect of the ministry to ensure adherence to the priorities of the church and guard against false spirituality. Part of the evaluation will include an objective analysis from a qualified spiritual leader who ministers outside of New Life Ministries.

Financial Safeguards
- New Life Ministries will not allow finances to limit the capacities of ministry or completely control ministry. Finances will remain a necessary but inconspicuous part of the ministry.
- New Life Ministries will handle finances in the wisest and most accountable possible manner as stewards of God’s resources.
- New Life Ministries will never allow finances to be a deciding factor when evaluating choices within the church.
- New Life Ministries will never allow finances to be the motivation for the existence of the ministry or the commitment of the leaders.
