We approach life with a perspective that the ground is level at the foot of the cross and that cross calls us to love the Lord, love others and, as we go through life, teach others to do the same through discipleship. We gather in downtown Kansas City to provide a place for a diverse group from around the metro to gather for worship. At New Life, it is not unusual to find homeless, loft-dwellers, suburban working class singles and families worshipping, fellowshipping and serving together. A quick scan through our group reveals a great variety of people...from people who work in the corner office to people who live under the corner of a bridge. Through this journey we are discovering that the executive and the un-employed, the suburbanites and those from the projects have much to learn from each other.

The New Life continuum is redefining our understanding and practice of what the Church is…we are not a building, we are a people. The church is a platform, where each member is challenged to be a minister, and as we are individually continuing on our faith walk God is calling us to step up on the stage to fulfill His mission through a variety of means.
